Hello students and families!
Here are directions for how to use www.easybib.com to create a bibliography to keep track of sources for the magazine project main article!
Step 1: Pull up websites that you used. For example, if you were researching Abraham Lincoln on biography.com, you would want to copy and paste the entire website from that website.

Step 2: Copy and paste the website into http://www.easybib.com in the search bar like you see below:

Step 3: Next, it will ask you if you would like to use the website that you entered. If it is correct, click “Cite This”:

Step 4: Next, easybib.com will tell you what it found about your topic. Make sure that this is the correct information. *Most websites will not have the authors listed, so you do not need to worry about this if you cannot find them.

Step 5: Double check that all information is correct.

Then click create citation.

Step 6: Copy and paste the citation that has been created.

Step 7: Paste the citation into the google doc at the end of the writing that students have already been working on.

Step 8: Repeat until all sources are added. There need to be three web sources and at least one book source in total.

Easybib will automatically alphabetize the sources, but if students are copying and pasting the sources one-by-one, they will need to put them in alphabetical order at the end.
This is due with the final draft of the paper, on Friday, December 8th.
