Welcome to February!

Learning Targets: I can use strategies to determine the correct meaning of vocabulary words related to human rights.

I can use context clues to help me determine the meaning of words.

Today, students began class with a quick review of what students have learned about human rights over the last couple of weeks. We then reviewed the vocabulary terms that students have been learning in our Human Rights unit.

Next, students took a comprehension quiz on the vocabulary words they have been studying. Students did a great job taking their time as they took their quiz.

Students had some time to work on their poems and their artwork that they are creating with their poem. The poem and art is due on Friday.

Finally, students went to the media center.
