*No spelling this week. We will be back to our spelling routine next week!

 

Learning Targets: I can use strategies to determine the correct meaning of vocabulary words related to human rights.

I can use context clues to help me determine the meaning of words.

Today, students had time to begin the final draft for their choice poem (inspired by our class book Locomotion). The poem, along with a drawing or collage is due on Friday, February 3rd!

Students also reviewed their vocabulary from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with a class game to get ready for a quiz that they will take tomorrow in class.
