Students finished their interest inventories and looked at their personal strengths. From those, they were asked to think about what ‘Superhero’ they would be if they could use their strengths to become a Superhero. Students had to draw their Superhero and could write a paragraph about what their superhero would be like. They could also draw a comic to show this.
Students were also assigned their own Social Studies Alive! book. Now they will be able to bring that home if they need to.
Students completed their 5th spelling test today.
Students also took notes about how to proofread their personal narrative. We then had time to them to work on their final draft of their personal narrative that they are composing using Google Docs. The nice thing about Google Docs is that you can access it from any computer or device than can connect to the internet. Many students completed their personal narrative today. Students who need more time will have time to complete their narrative in class next week.
Parents were invited into the classroom today and put on the most amazing harvest party! Thank you so much to everyone who helped make our afternoon so much fun!
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
